Luxottica Unveils Brand New Michael Kors Collection

More Images
Quick Take: Luxottica has launched the extensive Michael Kors Spring 2015 eyewear collection featuring chain link styles, rose gold styles, logo charm styles, exotic print styles and the new Miranda Eyewear Collection.
Wearer: The ideal Michael Kors woman: sporty, sexy and glamorous.
Specifics: The Miranda collection has three ophthalmic styles and five sunwear styles, the rest of the collection is rounded out with 10 additional styles.
Selling Points: The Miranda collection is inspired by the designer’s iconic Miranda handbag, named so because “it’s something both old-school glamorous and barefoot modern at once,” an aesthetic the collection aspires to encapsulate, the company said. All of the styles in the Miranda Collection are available in three different materials—metals, stones and leathers—to represent the different attitudes of the Michael Kors woman - sporty, sexy and glamorous. Most Miranda styles are cat-eye shaped, but accented with different details, like crystal baguettes, laser-engraved logos and leather. The additional styles in the spring collection are diverse in design. Three chain link styles are available; a cat eye ophthalmic frame, an aviator sunglass and a round, oversized sunglass. Rose gold styles include a rectangular optical frame with punched charm details and a metal aviator with flash lenses. Styles with logo charms include a square ophthalmic frame; a retro, round sunglass; and a rounded, cat-eye sunglass. Exotic prints are available in python for square optical frames and oversized sunwear.

Its end pieces feature a raised Celtic symbol and the dual color acetate temples have matte metal tips with an embossed Celtic symbol inside and outside of the tips.
