Specifics: Digitally built lenses are tailor-made to specific vision correction requirements providing clearer vision and alleviating eye strain. This new service offers colors ranging from standard g-15 to flash to gradient lenses. Prescription lenses feature the Ray-Ban logo in the corner of the right lens, with the Ray-Ban initials engraved on the left. The entire offer is built to serve single vision and progressive needs in both sun and optical.

All sun prescription lenses come with the Ray-Ban logo marking and rear side AR providing a unique premium lens. For clear lenses, the company is offering a range of materials and treatments as well as introducing similar branding (logo and engraving) on the lenses that have become a hallmark of the brand’s products.
Fabrizio Uguzzoni, president of Luxottica Wholesale N.A. said, “For years, customers have been asking for the complete pair of branded Ray-Bans. Until now, we were missing the finishing touch—the customer’s prescription lenses were not produced with the Ray-Ban logo etched on. Having branded frames plus branded lenses produced and assembled in the same place will provide customers with the most authentic Ray-Ban experience possible.”
Ray-Ban prescription lenses will launch on April 10 and will be previewed at Vision Expo East in a dedicated area (Booth #2153), where the lens product, operational model, labs, capabilities and overall value proposition for the market will be showcased. The complete pair will be processed in Luxottica’s newly-expanded Atlanta hub, which combines lab and distribution center.
