Specifics: This new Safilo collection builds on the company’s heritage with a new range of optical frames which celebrate superior design, functional innovation and “Made in Italy” know-how that the brand is recognized for.
Selling Points: The Safilo optical frames which speak to a “demanding and educated consumer” and celebrate the Italian DNA of the brand includes a balance of mixed styles in acetate, titanium or metal and feature a new distinctive hinge whose innovative double spring system takes the performance of flex hinges to the next level. This collection is designed to ensure perfect fit, comfort and durability with a unique Italian feel. Additionally, the new collection is regarded as a modular design system with a varied choice of materials, shapes and sizes, but also spare parts that can be easily ordered and replaced. Modo Releases New Derek Lam Optical Styles for FW17

Quick Take: Each of these new optical styles from Modo’s Derek Lam collection continues Lam’s design tradition of “luxury without formality.” These newest frames combine retro elements and exceptional details for accessible style.
Specifics: Four new styles made with premium, high quality materials. The standout features are the new 18k gold and white gold plated stainless steel rims and temples. The nose pads are also stainless steel with silicone covers.
Selling Points: Styles 281 and 282 showcase a combination of colorful acetate and an exposed 18k gold plated stainless steel rim and bridge. The 281 is a classic pantos shape and is available in six colorways. The 282 is more of a rounded square silhouette with slim, full metal temples and acetate temple tips. The 283 and 284 styles take on more of a retro feel reminiscent of wire frame pantos shapes with exquisite detailing that showcases Lam’s refined style. Both of these frames are wrapped in genuine leather paired with the 18k gold plated stainless steel and full metal temples and temple tips. Both frames are available in six colorways.

Marcolin’s Guess Eyewear Bows Capsule Collection With Get in Touch Foundation

Quick Take: The Fall 2017 eyewear collection from Cole Haan takes inspiration from the brand’s legacy of craftsmanship and reputation for innovation to celebrate the brand’s iconic Heritage Weave.

Women’s optical style CH5011 is a classic handmade acetate frame which features two-tone colorations and pearled temples with the pressed weave design. Blake Kuwahara Debuts New Styles for Fall 2017

Specifics: The Fall 2017 releases will include 10 new styles including a new addition to the Blake Kuwahara personal limited edition collection as well as a collectable Pinch Nez.
Selling Points: “Given that we’re only into our third year, I wanted to expand the silhouettes and styling to give the entire collection more breadth. There is a nice mix of thin metal designs which play on the use of negative space to create volume as well as bolder acetate designs incorporating my signature ‘frame-within-a-frame’” construction,” said Kuwahara. The “Nez” is a modern take on the vintage pinch nez and Kuwahara took inspiration from strolling through flea markets in foreign cities for the creation of this look. Additionally, the “Gropius” which is part of his personally curated Limited Edition collection showcases Kuwahara’s frame within a frame concept. Kuwahara also said there was a specific emphasis on sunglass styles within this new Fall collection.
