ECPs can access a range of new tools online via the newly updated Transitions PRO website (Professional Resource Online). The compilation of information and materials helps visitors identify resources that are of the highest relevance to them on topics related to the Transitions family of products, marketing, professional development, social media, ethnically diverse patient groups, community outreach and more. "As products, patient needs and even the industry itself evolve, professionals are presented with opportunities, but also challenges to remaining informed," said Dana Reid, marketing manager, digital communications - trade, Transitions Optical. "We offer an array of free online resources that not only help our partners succeed with the Transitions family of products, but also assist them with growing their practices and reaching new patients. It was important for us to group these tools in one single destination: Transitions PRO." The website was created for anyone with a professional interest in vision care and eyewear—from eyecare professionals and students, to labs and managed vision care brokers. Optical industry professionals can stay up-to-date on the latest technology and products with free continuing education, training resources and other special-interest programs and promotions. With the consolidation of its professional resources, the site is more user-friendly, enabling visitors to customize their experience via enhanced sorting functionality.


Additionally, the PRO site will help re-introduce a suite of tools geared toward helping eyecare practices to market their practices.

  • Transitions Marketing WIZ: an accessible, easy-to-use online resource, which allows eyecare practices to develop and implement a customized marketing plan to facilitate growth and sales of Transitions lenses.
  • Transitions MAP: an interactive tool that practices can use to analyze their local markets and better understand their target patients and marketing footprints.
  • Transitions Online Marketing (TOM) tool: a collection of materials and resources practices can use to execute their marketing efforts.

New users can enroll for free at TransitionsPRO.com. Existing users can access the site using the usernames and passwords that they previously created.
