PLANO, Texas—Eyecare Republic (ECR) a new doctor alliance group serving the needs of private practice optometrists and prioritizing collaborative solutions, community engagement, and leadership from within the eyecare community, has launched, according to the company. The founding members of ECR bring decades of experience working within the eyecare industry. Led by its two founding optometrists, Justin Weigel, OD, and Neal Troyer, OD, the team at ECR will leverage their years of experience across marketing, finance, procurement, practice management, IT, and operations to secure resources and differentiated business solutions, the announcement said.

According to the company, the innovative member information and communication platform that will be introduced by ECR will streamline industry information and open communications amongst members and vendors to provide the best quality of products, services, and operational efficiencies to increase profitability and quality of care.

"At Eyecare Republic, we believe that collaboration is the key to unlocking transformative solutions amongst ECPs," said Dr. Weigel. "By fostering optometrist feedback through our private forum which helps to facilitate connections and conversations among members, we are able to identify areas of focus to benefit membership."

Eyecare Republic is currently seeking additional vendor partners to provide its membership with quality products and services at competitive rates. ECR leadership is in the process of reviewing quality vendor relationships that will add value to members, ECPs and their patients.
