MILAN—If your company is a Mido 2024 exhibitor or you’re an ECP or optical retailer who is a fan of a company’s sustainable products, it’s time to encourage them to submit entries to the international eyewear exhibition’s 2nd edition of the Certified Sustainable Eyewear Awards. An international panel of expert judges, using detailed criteria, you can read in the rules, posted here, will evaluate if your products are realized recycling materials, reducing consumption in the production and distribution processes, maximizing the supply chain, removing waste or using renewable resources etc.
The upcoming awards will be significantly expanded from the inaugural competition. There will be six categories considered for the Mido 2024 edition, to be held Feb. 3-5 in Milan. The six categories include: CSE Award Sunglasses Europe, CSE Award Sunglasses Rest of the World, CSE Award Frames Europe, CSE Award Frames Rest of the World, CSE Award Cases Europe, CSE Award Cases Rest of the World.
The application form, available to Mido exhibitors, is open now and will be until Nov. 27, 2023.
