Samantha Giaver, head of growth at ADvendio, commented on an ADvendio study that polled over 1,000 U.S. shoppers on shopping behavior and found that 20 percent of U.S. consumers are influenced to buy products after encountering ads on a retailer's app, with Millennials (35 percent) and Gen Z (32 percent) more likely to be swayed by product recommendations made by retailers they are already loyal to compared to other channels.
