PORTLAND, Ore.—PECAA, a leading nationwide doctor alliance group, has launched a marketing advisory service for its membership. The service is an extension of the Member Business Advisor (MBA) Program, a complimentary service for members of the organization that assists practices with their financials, practice operations, billing and coding and marketing efforts. The marketing advisory service provides insights and guidance related to paid and unpaid advertising strategies, reputation management, social media campaigns, branding, event marketing, identifying current strengths and weaknesses and helping practices develop a marketing budget that will accommodate their short and long term goals.

“The realities of marketing can often feel chaotic and overwhelming, and I will be bringing a sense of calm to the chaos for member practices,” explained Shelby Wade, PECAA’s marketing MBA spearheading the program. “I’m looking forward to working with the membership to develop and implement best-practice marketing strategies.”

PECAA’s MBA Program provides guidance around hot topics such as frame board management, accounts receivable management, claims management, practice transitions, a staffing analysis and personnel change guidance as well as a complete financial analysis of the practice.

“The early days of PECAA saw a small group of doctors coming together to connect, collaborate and improve their businesses. Among the group’s earliest efforts was jointly marketing their practices. From this simple beginning, PECAA has built a series of services and partnerships to help members attract and retain loyal patients,” said Jamie Hughes, senior vice president & general manager, PECAA. “We are delighted to add Shelby to the team. Her background and expertise will help members achieve maximum returns for their marketing efforts.”
