NEW YORK—Jobson Medical Information, publisher of Vision Monday, is launching its annual survey of optical retailers across the U.S. for inclusion in the 2018 Top U.S. Optical Retailers report. Results from the survey will be published in the May 2018 digital and print issue of Vision Monday. This survey is being sent to chief executives of retail operations, both chain and independent, this week. The survey, and the 2018 Top U.S. Optical Retailers report, will be based upon revenues for the calendar year that ended Dec. 31, 2017.

This year’s survey, as in year’s past, asks for total company revenues, including sales from both company-owned and franchised stores (if applicable), managed vision care revenues, online sales, and any share of affiliated doctors’ fees or laser-surgery fees your company receives—or a total that would represent all revenue derived from optical products and services through locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

The deadline to provide the information to Vision Monday is Friday, April 13.
