Quick Take: Erkers1879 has added four new acetate sunglasses to its Roman Numeral V collection.
Specifics: The new additions are three women’s models and one men’s model, all handcrafted using a biodegradable cellulose acetate. The three women's sunglasses, Dutchtown, Twin Oaks and Fox Park, each feature a large square silhouette with rounded edges for a dramatic look. Each frame is designed in four colors from the brand's subdued-modern palette, blending neutrals and pastels. Jack Erker III originally designed men’s style Moline for himself to wear. It is a strong, masculine frame with ultra-thick temples. It is available in three translucent colors: Crystal, Whiskey Neat and Barrel Proof as well as Black with a high gloss inside to juxtapose the outside’s matte finish.
Selling Point: The new sunglasses in the Roman Number V collection are lightweight, comfortable and luxurious. Each frame features three stainless steel rivets representing the three Erkers who worked on the designs, as well as a light etching of the brand name on the left lens and the year of inception on the right temple jacket. As part of the Roman Numeral V collection, each temple tip features a gold emblem of the letter V.
