Quick Take: Eyes of Faith will expand its brand portfolio by offering Zivah premium sunglasses to the wholesale market for independent ECPs.
Specifics: The Zivah collection houses ophthalmic-grade, high-quality metal and acetate frames in both classic and vibrant combinations of color and fashion mirror lenses. All styles are Rx-able and arrive complete with premium polarized lenses that include UV protection, backside anti-reflective treatment and scratch-resistant hard coating. Several styles are made in the United States using European components.
Twelve styles are available to the wholesale market, each pair inscribed with the Matthew 4:16 scripture, “The people living in darkness have seen a great light,” a nod to the purpose behind the brand and the origin of Zivah, which is a Hebrew name meaning, “light of God."
Selling Point: Through a partnership with Watts of Love, Zivah provides solar-powered lights and reading glasses to impoverished communities around the world living without electricity. Eyes of Faith and Zivah co-founder Jim Schneider said, “In making Zivah available to our optical partners, we hope to brighten even more lives through our partnership with Watts of Love… We’re excited to give eyecare professionals the opportunity to offer distinctive styles from an independent brand that helps to break the cycle of poverty for entire communities living in darkness.”
Watts of Love founder and CEO Nancy Economou said, “Zivah has become more than a brand through this collaboration; it's a force for positive change. Zivah’s commitment to helping us end the cycle of poverty is evident in their financial support of our program and support when they join us in the field.”
