Quick Take: Randolph Eyewear has debuted a collaboration with designer Todd Snyder on a capsule collection of Made in the USA aviators. This marks the beginning of an ongoing partnership between both brands, with additional planned drops throughout the rest of 2022 and onwards.
Specifics: Constructed by hand in Randolph, Massachusetts, the Randolph x Tom Snyder collaboration includes design details such as bayonet style temples that bend with ease, SkyTec glass polarized lenses with Vector anti-reflective and blue wave lens technology and a strong enamel top coat twice-bbaked at 400 degrees for durability. The aviators are available in four colorways: military olive, matte black, 23 karat gold and gunmetal.
Selling Point: Todd Snyder said, “I’ve long admired (and worn) Randolphs because of their incredible quality, their great American backstory and the authentic cool that comes from being the go-to for generations of pilots.”
Peter Waszkiewicz, CEO of Randolph, said, “The opportunity to marry two iconic American brands is exciting and uniquely a part of our DNA. For Randolph, it is important to collaborate with partners who value Made in USA, timeless style, authenticity and detailed craftsmanship. Todd Snyder understood this and brought his own unique perspective on re-creating a classic product for a modern consumer.”
