The Optometric Center of NY, the foundation of the SUNY College of Optometry honored the co-founders of Lombart Instrument at the organization’s Eyes on New York Gala this year. The event helped raise funds for SUNY’s new Pediatric Vision Center initiative. Lombart co-founder, Kenneth Lombart, second from right, was presented his honor by long-time friend and event chair, Steve Juenger, former executive vice president of Haag-Streit USA/Reliance Medical Products, far right. Also congratulating Lombart is Barbara Saltzman, president of the Optometric Center of New York, and David Health OD, president of SUNY Optometry.

The rock dance concert, which was held at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square on St. Patrick’s Day, drew 608 enthusiastic fans and brought in a record $217,000 in sponsor donations.
