As Vision Expo East 2023 wraps up today, the organizers of Vision Expo, The Vision Council and RX, would like to thank all supporters, attendees and exhibitors for their enthusiasm, hard work and commitment – together we’ve had an incredibly successful show in New York City. “We were thrilled to see so many exhibitors doing business, learning, forging new relationships and connecting with longtime peers at Vision Expo East,” Ashley Mills, CEO of The Vision Council, co-organizer of Vision Expo, said.

“We are so appreciative to the vision community for making this event possible. The success of this Show directly impacts The Vision Council’s ability to fulfill its mission of growing the industry through education, advocacy, research, and consumer education. Thank you for a fabulous weekend and we look forward to hosting you in Las Vegas for Vision Expo West,” Mills said.

Vision Expo East 2023 featured more than 425 exhibiting companies—all hosted on one floor for the first time—across several distinct neighborhoods. Continuing education and informative programming also engaged the thousands of industry students, professionals, media and companies in attendance.

Presented under the banner of VisionEd, Vision Expo’s education program offered more than 300 hours of education, ranging from the latest business strategies and fashion trends to patient education tactics and cutting-edge innovations. Returning to the show yet again, OptiCon @ Vision Expo offered an unmatched education program and exhibit hall experience for opticians, contact lens practitioners and ophthalmic allied professionals.

The Bridge served as a main stage destination and a hub for collaborative learning as the host venue for various panels, as well as keynote speaker and author Jason Romero.

“When I was at my lowest point I felt this calling to run across the United States and what it taught me was that you can be at your lowest point in life and be capable of the extraordinary, and that’s so encouraging to me. I see that in every single person even if we don’t see that in ourselves," Romero said.

The Bridge also housed the Innovation Stage, the Show Floor destination dedicated to groundbreaking content and state-of-the-art products and services revolutionizing the industry.

Other Show Floor destinations include:

  • The Springs – This Vision Expo neighborhood is dedicated to emerging talent.
