WHO: For lovers of fine jewelry, the detail-oriented, and the eternally glamourous.

WHAT: Eyewear that takes design queues from jewelry, which can result in frames both classically beautiful and glamorously trendsetting.

WEAR: (Top to Bottom): From Thélios’ Fred, style FG50028U is inspired by the jewelry brand’s iconic Force 10 bracelet, featuring its iconic shackle and cable. From Marchon, Lanvin style LNV605S is a 1980s inspired sun style that prominently features the Maison’s gold “Mother and Child” plaque—also found on some of Lanvin’s most popular earrings and necklaces. Tura’s Tura Brilliance TE272 features a glamourous, jewelry-inspired interlocking design on the temples, which are also encrusted with some of the most famous jewels in the world: Swarovski crystals. Finally, Vera Wang’s Lilah, from Kenmark Eyewear, also brings in the glamour and brilliance of jewelry with Swarovski crystals along the browline.

WHY: The optical community has long been likening eyewear to jewelry for the eyes, so it makes perfect sense for designers to take inspiration from jewelry itself. These detailed, glamourous designs elevate eyewear to something precious and artistic—resulting in something a wearer can be truly proud to show off.
