Sydney Madrigal, OD, who practices at The Eye Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida, celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month on Instagram. She wrote, “Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate the rich culture and contributions of Hispanics and Latinos. We have a unique opportunity to make a difference in the world. I started this page because I was struggling to find colleagues and mentors in my profession as a student. Along my journey I have made incredible friends and have mentors that made a big difference in my career and life.
