INDIANAPOLIS—The National Association for the Employment of People Who Are Blind (NAEPB) announced EMP Technical Group as recipient of its large business supplier of the year award and honored Massif as its top small business supplier. The award recognizes both companies’ support of the AbilityOne Program and dedication to finding new and innovative ways to provide employment opportunities to people who are blind. “I have seen firsthand the incredible impact that both of these companies have had on individuals with vision loss,” said NAEPB president Jeffrey Mittman. “I am thankful for the consistency and support shown by these businesses, who deserve national recognition.”

EMP Tech, based in Indiana, partners with companies across the country to customize hardware and software labeling and shipping needs that are accessible for employees. It also is well known for its customer service.
 
Massif, based in Ashland Oregon, has been an AbilityOne champion for providing exceptional support to the 16 Envision Xpress Base Supply Centers throughout the country. It also partners with various businesses that employ individuals with vision loss.
 
NAEPB’s mission is to represent and protect the collective interest of its member organizations to enable them to strengthen and maximize opportunities for people who are blind.
