Yesterday, many vision and eye health charities and organizations took to social media to take part in International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a day dedicated to promoting "the rights and well-beings of persons with disabilities," according to the United Nations. One of the many organizations involved was the Vision Foundation, formerly Greater London Fund for the Blind, a U.K. based foundation for blind and partially sighted people. This year, Vision Foundation shared a blog post detailing what it's like to be a blind person living and working in London, one of the busiest cities in the world. Take a look at the blog post here, or check out the #IDPD hashtag to see more posts about International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
