NEW YORK—In VisionMonday.com’s last Quick Poll, we asked ECPs where they were budgeting their 2011 spend and exactly half (50 percent) of respondents reported that marketing, including online, was front and center. With social media extending into practices and the online video ad industry projected to reach $1.5 billion in 2010, expect to spend more time, energy, and budget dollars reaching current and potential customers online via rich media.

Meanwhile, a quarter (25 percent) of Quick Poll respondents reported that in 2011, their budgeting focus will be on training and personnel, and the remaining 25 percent of ECPs who responded said that inventory was their primary budget goal.
