The Help has turned into one of 2011’s most buzzed about movies. It has already won several awards and as we slide into the Oscars it is still top of mind. In this Bold Face we feature three of the film’s stars and help you figure out how to get their look…

Octavia Spencer plays Minny Jackson in The Help and has so far swept every award she has been nominated for. The role sees her as a feisty and unflappable domestic during the 1960’s Civil Rights movement in the South. Up for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars on Feb. 26, she is the odds on favorite to take the award. Here the actress channels a bit of modern day glamour in the Valentino V609S sunglasses from Marchon

In the film Emma Stone’s character Skeeter Phelan wears a pair of vintage 1960’s cat eyes ophthalmics in a clear tortoiseshell. A shout out to French eyewear blog – www.lunettesde.com – that pointed out it’s easy to find a very similar style in today’s current collections like the Ray-Ban RX 5226 from Luxottica or the Cutler and Gross 1013…

Jessica Chastain had a huge 20l1. She was in six different movies, including The Help. Playing Cecilia Foote in the film, a country girl who married well, her role proved that prejudice isn’t always based on skin color. In real life, the red headed beauty chose a sunglass style designed in coloration with an actress who’s become famous for another period role – January Jones of Mad Men fame – in the Versace & January Jones VE2120 sunglasses from Luxottica.
