NEW YORK—In VisionMonday.com's last Quick Poll, we asked which marketing channels ECPs plan to use most in 2011, and a whopping 68 percent of respondents reported that social media is where they plan to focus their resources.

Social media marketing emerged as a bona fide business tactic in 2010, and is expected to overtake search marketing in 2011. ECPs should become familiar with the ins and outs of social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, and what it means to "engage" fans and followers. (Start by following Vision Monday on Twitter and becoming a fan on Facebook!)
