WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa.—Eyes of Faith Optical is a new collection embodying “purpose, passion and style” developed by founders Amy and Jim Schneider.

Eyes of Faith is based on Christian-based eyewear themes employing unique craftsmanship and fashion-forward concepts as “an opportunity for Christian consumers to share their faith,” Schneider explained.

Established through the Community Foundation in Sharon, Pennsylvania, the company’s purpose “is to offer a brand of hope” through giving back a minimum of 10 percent of gross sales to the Eyes of Faith Foundation, which helps needy children.

Jim Schneider is a former insurance executive who left that business to focus on the Eyes of Faith mission as “director of purpose.” Amy Schneider, Eyes of Faith Optical’s director of style brings 15 years experience as an optician to the Eyes of Faith brand.

The launch collection consists of several ranges of both plastics and metals, some geared to women, others to men, employing scrollwork and script details, colorful stained glass effects and symbols of the cross on endpieces and temples in contemporary treatments and finishes. Colorations include black, purple, burgundy and crystals as well as olive, tortoise and antiqued silver and bronze and matte finishes, several with spring hinges. The initial range also includes several three-piece mounts.

Prices to the dispenser for the collection range from $54 up to $69 for the 3-piece compression mount. More about the company and its recent presence at contemporary Christian events is at EyesofFaithOptical.com.
