Quick Take: Marcolin has debuted its latest collection of eyewear for Tom Ford featuring minimalism and attention to detail that coexist in the collection. Unique styles are presented once again in new trendy hues.
Specifics: This new collection features a combination of 50s-style shapes, oversized 70s silhouettes and cohesive, innovative acetate and metal pairings. The collection also presents three new designs for the Private Collection, featuring refined materials, such as horn, leather, gold plating and photochromic lenses. Lastly, the Holiday Edition collection features two styles completed in 18K gold-plating, designed especially for the Tom Ford woman.
Selling Points: Some highlights to this new collection include the FT5531 frame style with is a thin, elegant, refined metal frame. This style combines the two pillars of the Tom Ford Eyewear collections, the infinity frame front and the metal ‘T’ logo. Also new to this collection is the FT5547-B which is an ultra-feminine cat-eye shape featuring a special combination of metal and acetate,  featuring an acetate top bar and thin metal temples. The FT0237 is an iconic square James Bond model in acetate that features the ‘T’ logo on the frame front, reintroduced in new colors.The FT0654 features a round metal design with subtle cat-eye detail and thin metal temples featuring iconic “T” in relief temple detail. FT0659 shows off a square, acetate design, featuring a flat frame front, thin temples and the ‘T’ logo on the front. A feminine round acetate style is encompassed in the FT0662 with thin metal temples featuring iconic “T” element. The FT0708 frame from Tom Ford is a 1960’s inspired metal ‘navigator’ style with a rock’n’roll aesthetic, featuring an additional lens detail on temples while the FT0710 showcases a unisex, acetate, wraparound design featuring oversized proportions and an additional lens detail on the temples.
