Actress Kelsey Scott plays Anne Northup, the wife of Solomon Northup, a free black man who is kidnapped and sold into slavery in the film 12 Years a Slave. The movie opened to critical acclaim, being named the best film of the year by several media outlets, and receiving several awards and nominations including the 2014 Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Drama, and nine Academy Award nominations including Best Picture, Best Director and several acting nominations. Julia Roberts rocked her Ray-Ban Meteor sunglasses from Luxottica on the red carpet at the 2014 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hanger on Thurs., Jan. 16 in Santa Monica, Calif. Roberts stars in the movie August: Osage County, a film about the lives of the strong-willed women of the Weston family and the dysfunctional woman who raised them, played by Meryl Streep. Roberts was nominated at the event for Best Supporting Actress and has also been nominated in the Supporting Actress category for the upcoming Academy Awards… 



Scarlett Johansson arrived at the Late Show with David Letterman on Jan. 8, to promote her latest movie, Her. Written, directed and produced by Spike Jonze, the film centers on a man (Joaquin Phoenix) who falls in love with an intelligent computer operating system (OS) named Samantha voiced by Johansson. The movie received three Golden Globe nominations, winning one for Best Screenplay, and is nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Writing (Original Screenplay). Johansson arrived at the Late Show taping wearing the Northern Lights sunglasses from Karen Walker.
