SAN FRANISCO, Calif.— Reclaiming the definition of luxury, Penna Omega, owner of Rims & Goggles optical boutique in Milly Valley, California has launched GRO, an independent eyewear brand.

Luxury has never been about efficiency, the company said. Therefore, the process of creating GRO starts with the intuitive and technical understanding of the Rims & Goggles design team who not only has a combined experience of 150 years, but has taken into account personal experiences with customers to fill the niche. The creation process culminates in an Italian factory where artisans hand produce every pair using quality materials, a process that can take up to 60 days.

The GRO Sunglass Collection of six styles is engineered from the latest, organic Mazzuchelli acetate for a high gloss and transparency effect. Edges are faceted with a distinguished three-dimensional style, while colors blend carefully to produce a majestic kaleidoscope pattern with no two styles alike. Optically grounded CR-39 lenses provide lightweight comfort with superior clarity and 100 percent UV protection.

“At Rims & Goggles, there is a true passion for helping customers look and feel like they never expected with their eyewear,” said Omega. “With GRO, we hand pick each color for each shape, then tweak, modify and perfect each component for our customer.”
