Lighthouse International is dedicated to fighting vision loss through prevention, treatment and empowerment.

Vision

Maximizing your vision for life. For more than 100 years, Lighthouse International has been a leading non-profit organization helping people who are visually impaired – or at-risk of vision loss – lead productive and independent lives. We are dedicated to preserving vision and to providing critically needed vision and rehabilitation services to help people of all ages overcome the challenges of vision loss. As baby boomers age and disease such as diabetes affect vision, millions will be affected. Lighthouse International has been, and will continue to be there to prevent vision loss and preserve vision.

Program Results 

Lighthouse International has a wide range of programs including: a Child Development Center, a Music School, a Low Vision Center, Career Services for people who are visually impaired and a Diabetes program. 

Get Involved 

Lighthouse International offers many ways to help: we have an active volunteer program, you can buy great products for better vision at our store, you can donate clothes to our annual fashion fundraiser, donate funds to support our services, sign up for an advocacy newsletter, sign up for our vision health newsletter and attend an event at our New York City headquarters.
