NEW YORK—Marking Earth Day’s 40th anniversary more optical, several industry players are reducing, reusing and/or recycling, including The Kenmark Group, Modo and Transitions Optical.

The Kenmark Group’s new Jhane Barnes Redux collection includes two new designs—Redux 4 and Redux 5—that reuse production products to reduce waste. All of the Jhane Barnes frames feature corn demo lenses that break down into water and carbon matter, and each frame comes with a case made from 100 percent recycled material and organic cotton.
