Percentage of Adults Currently Wearing Some Form of Vision Correction*

The majority of respondents, 84%, said they currently wear sunglasses in the 12 months ending June ‘08. 64% of respondents said they wear eyeglasses as a form of vision correction in the 12 months ending June ‘08. Over the same period, 20% of respondents said they currently wear contact lenses. Lastly, 14% of respondents said they use/wear readers in the 12 months ending June ‘08. ■
