Marchon, which has had the Fendi eyewear license since 1991 domestically and 2005 globally, will honor existing Fendi eyewear consumer warranties. Their agreement with the Italian fashion house expires effective Jan. 1, 2014 with a six month sell-off period. “While we have had a successful collaboration with Fendi for many years, we have come to a mutual agreement with them on the conclusion and transition of our license,” according to Claudio Gottardi, president and CEO of Marchon.
