CHICAGO—Prevent Blindness, a nonprofit eye health and safety organization, Vision Ireland, a nonprofit national sight loss agency, and the TAD Foundation, dedicated to increasing employment for the blind and low vision community, have announced that the 2nd Annual New York Golf Classic will be held at the Wykagyl Country Club in New Rochelle, N.Y., on Monday, May 20, 2024. Wykagyl is challenging for the expert golfer yet playable and enjoyable for the novice, and it is ranked one of the top 100 golf courses in the U.S., according to the announcement.

Attendees are invited to enjoy the chance to meet and hear from the event’s honoree, former 9/11 firefighter Sebastian Raspanti, as well as a full day that will include lunch, 18 holes of golf and cocktails, followed by dinner and a chance to bid on unique prizes, such as a trip to play on a world championship golf course in Ireland.

Participation in this event supports eye health programs for those in the U.S. and Ireland, and contributes to the cross-continental alliance for the TAD Foundation, Vision Ireland and Prevent Blindness.
