SAN DIEGO, Calif.—Eyes On Eyecare announced it will be hosting INSIGHT, its first in-person event for eyecare professionals, from April 19 to 20, 2024 in Las Vegas at the Oquendo Campus—a 70,000-square-foot facility designed specifically for medical education. Known for delivering continuing education on a virtual platform for today’s optometrists and ophthalmologists, Eyes On Eyecare is kicking off its comprehensive in-person experience to accommodate ECPs who prefer in-person learning and networking, or who wish to fulfill their educational requirements through a mix of virtual and hands-on modalities.

“Eyes On Eyecare’s mission has always been to deliver knowledge and foster the learning styles of all eyecare professionals,” said Matt Geller, OD, CEO, and co-founder, Eyes On Eyecare. “Virtual education is here to stay, but we are thrilled to augment our offerings with INSIGHT—an affordable opportunity for hands-on education, face-to-face networking and the connection that comes from sharing a career-defining experience with fellow colleagues.”

The inaugural agenda will unlock up to 12 in-person COPE-accredited continuing education (CE) units over the course of 15 hours of exclusive programming, including: keys to building a powerhouse practice; deep dives into dry eye disease; state of the union on myopia management; how to detect AMD, GA, and DR even earlier; next-gen contact lens technologies; mastering a collaborative-care approach to MIGS; what today’s ODs need to know about keratoconus; simplified strategies to enhance NK diagnosis and management; co-management pearls essential for patient-centric care; new innovations in ocular aesthetics; overcoming digital impacts on patient ocular comfort and vision; navigating medical malpractice challenges; and more.

In addition to best-in-class education, attendees will also have access to a technology-rich exhibit hall, networking receptions, hands-on dry labs and demonstrations, breakfasts and lunches every day, a Johnson & Johnson MedTech-sponsored reception Friday evening, and opportunities to develop deeper connections with peers who may become trusted collaborators and sounding boards as today’s ECPs continue to grow their practice and patient-care protocols.

Standard registration (until April 17, 2024) is $299 per person, with on-site registration (April 18-20, 2024) priced at $399 per person. Participation in all dry labs is $100 per person. Select hotels will be offered at a discounted rate. Registrations can be fully refunded if written requests are received on or before April 15, 2024.

For ECPs who can’t make the in-person event, a virtual option is available, where up to 10 units of COPE-accredited CE can be obtained. Additionally, there are still sponsorship opportunities for interested companies who wish to become leaders in the eyecare space.
