OXFORD, U.K.— Adlens, based here, announced that its Adlens Adjustables line has been recognized with a Silver Stevie Award at the 10th annual International Business Awards on Oct. 13 in Barcelona, Spain. The product was recognized for its utility, craftsmanship and technology in the “Best New Product of the Year” category in Health and Pharmaceuticals.

“Our recognition in this category is an exciting validation of our work and the technology we have developed,” said Graeme MacKenzie, OD, director of industry affairs at Adlens.

Adlens Adjustables are designed for use as a temporary spare pair and provide instantly customizable vision correction through the simple turn of a dial. The glasses are adjustable for a wide range of spherical powers from -6.0 to +3.0D. They were designed to be used in various situations such as up-close work, computer use, DIY, yard work and for managing fluctuating vision in diabetes patients or after eye surgery.

Over 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration. Past winners include: PepsiCo, Royal Mail Group, Pearson & Co. Campbell, 3M and Vodafone Turkey.
