Latest News CEing is Believing 2014 Virtual Conference and Exhibition Early Registration Now Open By Staff Monday, May 12, 2014 12:27 AM ROCKVILLE, Md.—Early bird registration is now open for the second annual CEing is Believing, Optometry’s Virtual Continuing Education Conference and Exhibition (CEiB2014) organized by EyeCarePro. The virtual conference, co-founded by EyeCarePro CEO David Rostenne and Alan Glazier, OD, FAAO, is scheduled to take place online starting Wednesday, July 16 and Thursday July 17, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. EDT and on Monday, July 21 and Tuesday, July 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. EDT. Those who complete early bird registration will receive 50 percent off their ticket price. Early bird registration is available until May 15. CEing is Believing is a continuing education virtual conference designed to conveniently make quality and COPE-approved courses available to optometrists without the costs associated with meetings, travel, lodging and revenue loss that result from traditional on-site conferences. According to conference organziers, CEiB 2014 programs will include collaboration with noted authors, thought leaders, industry members and colleagues. Confirmed speakers for this year’s event include: Mile Brujic, OD, partner of Premier Vision Group; Laurie Capogna, OD, partner in Peninsula Vision Associates in Niagara Falls, Canada; Mark Dunbar, OD, FAAO, director of optometric services and optometric residency supervisor at the University of Miami's Bascom Palmer Eye Institute; Steven Ferrucci, OD, FAAO, chief of optometry at the Sepulveda VA Ambulatory Care Center and Nursing Home; Jeffry Gerson, OD, FAAO, faculty at the University of Kansas school of medicine in the department of ophthalmology; and Alan Glazier, OD, FAAO, co-founder of the CEiB conference.
