NEW YORK--Hilary Duff, multi-platinum and chart-topping recording artist and headlining concert performer, actress, designer, philanthropist and business woman, has joined with Motive Eyewear for a new line of eyewear from the “stuff by hilary duff” ‘tween label for fall 2007.  The announcement was made by Duff and Tom Seltzer, vice president, business development, of Motive Eyewear.

Duff, in collaboration with her creative director, Geoffry Gertz, has provided design direction for this new line.  Motive Eyewear will distribute the eyewear and under the multi-year pact, plans to expand its spring ’08 product offering to include sunglasses, and eyewear and sunglasses for teens. 

“My new line of eyewear from the ‘stuff by hilary duff’ label is designed with the fashion-forward ‘tween in mind,” said Duff.

“Our alliance with Hilary brings her unique fashion sense and individual style to eyewear for ‘tweens,” said Motive Eyewear’s Craig Chorney, vice president, product deevelopment.  “Hilary’s eyewear designs have real appeal.”

Hilary Duff launches her next world concert tour this summer, with multi-city appearances in the U.S., Canada and around the world.  Her latest CD Dignity released April 3 and her latest music video With Love was #1 on MTV’s TRL and the most-added single on national Top 40 radio. As a fashion designer, Hilary is actively involved with her design team in leading the design process to expand her fashion, beauty and home products business globally, including her ‘tween fashion label ‘stuff by hilary duff’  with its spring collection in over 7,500 stores in the U.S. at Wal-Mart, Kohl’s, Target, J.C Penney and Sears among others.
