BERLIN—Mykita Holding Gmbh has expanded its management board, the company announced this week. Effective immediately, Moritz Krueger, managing partner and creative director, and Franz Koch, managing partner, will lead the business together. Krueger, founder, longstanding CEO and creative director at of the company, will focus more strongly on the areas of design, brand and sales (business-to-consumer), the company said.

“I am very pleased that we have gotten Franz Koch on board as managing partner,” said Krueger. “With joint effort and shared inspiration, we look forward to leading Mykita into the future.”

Koch was previously CEO of the sporting goods manufacturer Puma. Prior to that, he was in charge of Puma’s strategic development as head of global strategy and worked as a management consultant. In his role as Mykita’s managing partner, he will be responsible for the sales (business-to-business), production, finance, IT and HR departments.

“Mykita is a visionary company with great potential,” said Koch. “I look forward to the challenge of developing the business further and successfully pursuing the established growth trajectory.”

Mykita’s eyewear collections are available at the firm’s own shops in Berlin, Paris, New York, Monterrey (Mexico) Cartagena (Columbia), Vienna, Tokyo, Zurich and Zermatt as well as at selected opticians and fashion outlets in over 80 countries.

In February of this year, as VMail reported the owner/partner structure of Mykita changed, as Bernard Beetz, the former CEO of Coty, Inc. and an experienced fashion/beauty executive with LVMH and Proctor & Gamble, joined the company to work with Krueger.
