CHATSWORTH, Calif.— LBI has signed a three-year license agreement with the option for renewal for the design, manufacture and distribution in North America and other selected countries of Paris Blues branded eyewear, both ophthalmic and sunglasses, effective February 2013.

According to Robert Perry, vice president of LBI, the company plans to capitalize on Paris Blues’ reputation for great fit, excellent construction and unique styling. “The brand possesses a nostalgic appeal,” added Perry. “Girls that grew up with Paris Blues are now soccer moms whose daughters now wear the brand.”

For over 30 years, Paris Blues has proven itself a visionary brand with magnetic staying power that continues to expand as a supplier of high quality products. The Paris Blues brand product categories includes girl’s jeans, girl’s jackets and shoes. In addition to being advertised in leading publications such Teen Vogue and Seventeen, Paris Blues branded products are sold at retailers like Wet Seal, 5.7.9, Joyce Leslie, Nordstrom, Burlington Coat Factory, Marshalls, T.J. Maxx, Sears, Ross and Boscov, among others.

Planned for an August 2013 launch, the collection has already been well-received by several eyecare chains and is being presented through LBI’s sales force to the three Os, the company stated.
