NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J.— Mondottica USA has announced a worldwide licensing agreement with CB Sports. The license will grant Mondottica USA the rights to manufacture and distribute CB Sports eyewear, effective immediately.

“We’re excited to introduce a unique product collection with an American heritage brand that seems to resonate and bring a smile to so many,” said Gary Podhaizer, president of Mondottica USA. “CB Eyewear will be a great addition to Mondottica USA’s brand portfolio.”

Founded in 1969 in Stratton, VT, CB Sports was one of America’s leading outdoor apparel brands throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s best known for its iconic logo placed on the back collar and for “putting color on the mountain.” In addition to eyewear, CB Sports current portfolio of licensed products includes outerwear, apparel, hats, gloves, scarves and socks.

“Everyone seems to have their own unique CB jacket story,” added Mitchell Barkley, CEO of CB Sports. “We’re simply bringing back a piece of America. We’re excited to add CB eyewear to our product line-up.”

The CB Eyewear collection takes inspiration from the woods of Vermont with unique wood-like surface design and an eclectic color collection fusing bright color palettes, reminiscent of CB’s vintage jackets, with updated shapes.

Formed in 2010, Mondottica USA also serves as the exclusive U.S. eyewear distributor for Hackett London, Anna Sui and Pepe Jeans with global distribution rights for Cody Air and King Baby.
