CHICAGO—Prevent Blindness will be hosting a free webinar to provide an overview of the recent papers published by the National Expert Panel (NEP) of the National Center for Children’s Vision and Eye Health (NCCVEH) at Prevent Blindness. The webinar will be held on Friday, Jan. 23, at 10:30 (ET).

The three papers, published in the January 2015 issue of Optometry and Vision Science, include:

• Vision Screening for Children 36 to <72 Months: Recommended Practices
• Vision and Eye Health in Children 36 to <72 Months: Proposed Data System
• Vision and Eye Health in Children 36 to <72 Months: Proposed Data Definitions

Participants of the free webinar, “Exploring the National Recommendations for Children's Vision and Eye Health: A Discussion With the Authors,” will have a unique opportunity to hear in-depth presentations including recommendations for vision screening and improved surveillance through vision data collection and performance.
