MUNICH—The Rodenstock Group and the Porsche Design Group (Porsche Lizenz- und Handelsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG) are extending their license contract by another 10 years until 2027.

At Opti in Munich, both company CEOs, Oliver Kastalio and Dr. Jan Becker signed the mutual agreement, confirming their successful collaboration which has been in place for over 15 years.

The Porsche Design Group will again grant Rodenstock with the global license for the development, production and sale of spectacle frames for sunglasses, correction frames and complete reading spectacles for men and women.

According to the company, this step seeing Rodenstock underline its strategy to continue to focus on the successful, high turnover eyewear brands in its portfolio.

“We have been working with the Porsche Design Group very successfully for over 15 years and will continue this successful collaboration on the same scale. I am delighted about it,” Oliver Kastalio, CEO of Rodenstock said.
Tuscany Eyewear of Davie, Fla. will continue to exclusively distribute the Porsche Design Eyewear collection in the U.S. and Canada for the next five years.
