DALLAS—Sherianne James has been named chief marketing officer, Essilor of America. "Sherianne's ability to understand the consumer and influence their behavior to drive more patients directly into ECP practices will allow her to lead our customers to a new level of success," said Eric Leonard, president of Essilor of America. "Her addition to our leadership team means we can accelerate how our partners grow and build their practices."

Leonard added, “Her contributions to Essilor of America include significantly improving our ability to drive patients into our customer practices by leveraging new and innovative digital marketing strategies and guiding the growth of the Essilor Experts program, which combines some of Essilor's most impactful value-adds into a single program that is delivering double-digit revenue and branded product growth to participating ECPs.”

Most recently, James has been instrumental in leading the marketing team in creating an Essilor lens ecosystem through a new website, new advertising campaign and launching the Ultimate Lens Package and its innovative technologies to one of the most successful product launches for EOA in the past 20 years, the company said.

James joined EOA in 2016 from Transitions Optical where she held several roles in the marketing organization with her last role being vice president, global marketing. Prior to Transitions, James served in various senior marketing roles with Black and Decker Small Appliances and Kraft/Nabisco. She received a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida and her MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

At EOA, James replaces Carl Bracy who retired earlier this year.
