ProDesign was originally founded in 1973 but the ProDesign of today is a completely different company. Today, ProDesign is an ambitious company establishing a growing position in world markets through the ability to quickly recognize and pick up trends, supply prompt deliveries, efficient inventory management and support through their Danish headquarters and additional offices worldwide. Clean Danish design is the basis of their products but they always add a twist. ProDesign aims to balance classic and clean with bold and bright to continuously keep classic styles updated.

What are you selling?
We brought in ProDesign Denmark in early 2015 after many of our patients asked if we carried the line. We want our patients to have exciting frames to choose from, so the very versatile ProDesign collections fit right in with their awesome details, their high quality materials and their fun color options.

Who’s buying it?
Being located along the edge of the Silicon Valley, our office is surrounded by big tech companies with employees from all over the world. ProDesign’s design team creates frames that are face friendly by using photos of real people to ensure their products will fit comfortably. Everybody has different needs when it comes to their eyewear, and ProDesign has options that make it easy to find a frame that will be comfortable, functional and stylish.

Why do they like it?
Along with having the different shapes, colors and styles for our patients, ProDesign also offers the option of having adjustable nose pads in place of the plastic nose pad on any of their plastic frames. We’ve got patients who feel they need nose pads in order for their glasses to stay in place, so this option for adjustable nose pads on plastic frames increases the frame selections for everyone. We also carry frames from ProDesign’s Danish Heritage collection. These frames have a vintage, modern twist that is totally in style right now. Another bonus is their option to add a clip-on, which adds a contemporary look to a frame.
