SHARON, Penn.—Eyes of Faith Optical recently launched their redesigned website with a fresh marketing campaign that solidifies their upfront mission and a continued focus on a trusting partnership with independents. “A brand to believe in,” describes the company’s roots in faith-inspired philanthropy and style, and its commitment to sell only to independent eyecare professionals—not online.

“Although online sales are increasing in many industries because of convenience, we believe in the integrity of a proper eye exam and fitting at an independent, brick-and-mortar optical,” said Jim Schneider, co-founder and president.

“So, the most important goal for our new website is to offer all of the advantages of e-commerce like ease of use, order history and tracking of shipments, but exclusively to our optical partners.”

In addition to the convenience of online ordering, opticals need a feature-rich website to introduce patients to the brand. He points out that part of Eyes of Faith's appeal is found in their scripture-inspired styles and Wear & Share give-back promise.

Eyes of Faith built the new website to benefit opticals and to accommodate consumers, as well: wholesale pricing is revealed and purchases are allowed only when optical partners are logged in; all other features, including vibrant, zoomable frame photos, brand videos and “Prayer Partners” prayer requests, among others, are accessible to any visitor.

The website is also responsive, to allow for optimal viewing on any mobile device or desktop computer, which is especially useful when shopping for additional colors and styles with patients on an office tablet, for example. Eyes of Faith partners are listed in an interactive locator and will soon have the ability to set sales appointments online and download content from an improved resources section.

“Everyone can believe in our mission to bring eyecare and the love of Christ to people in need around the world and here at home. And eyecare professionals can believe in our commitment to partnering with them exclusively to put meaningful, fashion-forward frames on their boards that patients won’t find online,” said Amy Schneider, co-founder and vice president, product development.

Purchases of Eyes of Faith frames help to fund Wear & Share eyecare and eyewear for people in need via vision-specific mission work domestically and abroad.
