WASHINGTON, D.C.—Prevent Blindness is set to host its 5th Annual Focus on Eye Health National Summit, “Vision to Action—Collaborating Around a National Strategy,” on July 13, 2016.

A study is currently being conducted by the Health and Medicine Division of the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine Committee (NASEM) on Public Health Approaches to Reduce Vision Impairment and Promote Eye Health. The Summit presentations will provide an overview of the process and the study in general terms. They will also touch on how other reports have had effects on different topic areas.

For those who are not able to attend the Summit, Prevent Blindness will have it available as a live webinar here on July 13, from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. An archived version of the webcast will be made available on the summit page shortly after the end of the event.

The full summit agenda can be found here.
