NEW YORK—During Tura Inc.’s national sales meeting, held on March 3, 2017, Tura’s sales consultants were surprised with a special appearance from Gwen Stefani.

During the visit, Stefani participated in an interview with Scott Sennett, Tura’s president and CEO and thanked the sales team for placing her L.A.M.B and gx by Gwen Stefani brands in several thousand accounts during the 2016 launch year.

Stefani spoke about her love for designing eyewear and working with the Tura product and marketing team. She is intimately involved in the design process and gave great examples of how the synergy has grown over the past two years, the company said.

She also told the backstory behind the launch of her interchangeable emoji collection, gx by Gwen Stefani Juniors, which was inspired by her son, Zuma, who puts emoji stickers on his glasses.

“We can’t thank Gwen enough for taking the time to visit with us and meet the team that makes it all happen,” Sennett said. “She flew in from New York to meet with everyone and then immediately flew back east. Why? Because she genuinely wanted to thank everyone. Clearly the success of the brand is the byproduct of amazing teamwork between Gwen and Team Tura.”
