Jenny’s family has been in the optical business for as long as she can remember, so she fell in love with the industry at a young age. She wanted to learn the ins and outs from the people she trusted most and knew she wanted to create an element that would connect the customer more directly with brands. That led to the opening of Luxeye stores and the recent launch of Brooklyn Spectacles.

She owns “too many [frames] to count, what fun would it be otherwise?”

“I can wear them with a business suit and feel polished and sophisticated or with jeans and a T-shirt and feel casual and down-to-earth. They’re also really lightweight which is something that we really pride ourselves on. You want your glasses to become such an easy part of your everyday routine that you don’t even feel like they’re there.”
